Brighton

After ages of absence...
here we are again!
We did a lot of stuff and had a lot of fun!!!

Tomorrow we are going to Brighton for a saturday afternoon skate!!!

Sk8 season and the Carnival

Despite the sk8 season seems to go to a close end this weekend it's the notting hill carnival.
No sk8 because of the crowd but definitely a lot of fun.

I am seriously thinking about surfing..but that's another story.

Finally it stoped continously raining and the streets are dry and sunny, all ready for sk8boardin! :-)
These are my top five sk8in spots at the mo:
- Oxford Street pavement between Oxford Circus and Marble Arch (oustide rush hours)
- High Street Kensington pavement (all the way!) , also outside rush hours.
- Car park underneath Marble Arch.
- Green Park downhill
- Pentoville road downhill

I think it's time to go back to what we where...just riders.
I wanna ride and I have been doing it seldom lately.

Finally I got my new board, from this little jugglin shop in Camden Town (Thank u guys, 4 bein so nice! :-).
Its a Santa Cruz Sector 9 (cosmic series) wid maple deck, fiber glass and stuff...
It s small and powerful... nd it roooooooooooocks!! ;-)

Probably to Trash Palace first and Ghetto, we had some much fun last week.

On wednesday we went riding in Soho and to chill up we went to Trash Palace first and to Ghetto for the NagNagNag nite.

It was really funny... really nice people (especially girls...) and very elektro good music.

Here are some other pics. After the ride Julian went to Bonnington Cafe for some good veggie food. I reached him later and we skated to Romfort (road, street) for the a weird party in a squat.
After this, I lost Julian because he was chatting with a nice lady...
I skated to a reclaim the beach party near london bridge, thanks Mark for towing me.
You can see the mixed skate and bike crew that join the party after the ride...

World Naked Bike Ride UK

On Saturday we joined the World Naked Bike Ride UK!!!
Well, actually we were not into protest thing but more into the "open streets free to ride"...

It was amazing! Especially at the end from Marble Arch to Hyde Park riding on empty streets and all downhill!

Here are some pics I took during the day. You can see two riders we met that day, I guess their names are Will and Amish but not sure...Guys if you see this get in contact with us!

Best trick of the day: Julian falling on Westminster Bridge. Note: Julian was totally naked as you can see him from the picture above.

Jo was missing...partying (naked?) somewhere else in England.

Yesterday I saw some guys with electric skateboards hanging around Notting Hill...
Uhmm sounds good for lazy people..but where is the fun about longboarding then?

Ok, these are the best sk8 spots in my neigbourhood
(Im gonna put them in order)
1 - Cycle/pedestrian lane on Holland Park;
2 - Portobello Road (all the way!)
3 - Holland Park Avenue
4 - High Street Kensigton pavements, between Holland and Kensington Olympia
5- Earls Court Tesco
(The first three are downhill and the other ones are just... fun! :-))

Although I woke up now...(jee yesterday night was hard!)

Hello everyone!
This is the first for the new born blog of three lazy and cool longboarders in london...
We will try to show you some nice places where you can have fun with your longboard.
Maybe some serious downhill or just a nice smooth pavement where you can carve and have that amazing surf feeling...
